India's Recurring Payment Regulations
On October 1st, 2021, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) enforced its e-mandate directive for recurring payments. These new regulations stop businesses from automatically collecting payments for recurring transactions, services, and subscriptions.
These regulations mean that Indian citizens may continually experience failed subscription charges from Covenant Eyes. This is not a failure of Covenant Eyes’ billing system – this is a direct result of the RBI’s regulations.
Switch to Email Billing
Only Indian citizens and members with Indian-issued credit or debit cards are eligible for email billing.
- Contact Covenant Eyes Member Care and ask the agent to switch your subscription to email billing.
- After the agent switches your subscription to email billing, Covenant Eyes will email you 30 days before your monthly or annual payment is due. On or before the 30th day, you can pay your bill directly through email.
Pay Your Subscription via Email Billing
- When you're ready to pay your subscription, go to your email inbox and tap on the “Covenant Eyes Inc. Your invoice from Covenant Eyes Inc (invoice number) is due in 30 days" email.
- Tap "Pay this invoice."
- Enter your card information and tap "Pay."
