How do I turn on and lockdown the Covenant Eyes Safari® extension on an iPhone®?

Before You Begin


Part One: Turn on the Covenant Eyes Safari® Extension


  1. Open the Settings app on the iPhone® or iPad®.

  2. Scroll all the way down and tap “Apps.”

  4. Scroll down and tap “Extensions.”

  5. Tap “Covenant Eyes.”

  6. Move the "Covenant Eyes" and the "Allow in Private Browsing" toggle switches to the right to turn them on (the switches will turn green).

    The "Allow in Private Browsing" option appears only on iPhones with iOS 17 and newer. If you don't have iOS 17 or newer, you won't see the option.

  7. Tap “All Websites.”

  8. Tap “Allow.” Great job! You turned on the Covenant Eyes Safari® extension.

    Do not delete the Covenant Eyes app from your iPhone®. The Covenant Eyes app must remain on your device to run the Covenant Eyes Safari extension.

Part Two: Lockdown the Safari® Extension


You must use Apple’s device controls, Screen Time, and its Limit Adult Content feature so the user can’t turn off our Safari® extension.
