“Analyzing” appears on the Covenant Eyes app menu when Covenant Eyes hasn’t captured screenshots in the past hour.
Device Was Asleep
The Covenant Eyes app menu displays the number of screenshots taken in the previous hour. If your device’s screen is off for more than an hour and you open our menu, you’ll see “Analyzing.”
Once you use your device and begin browsing again, re-open the Covenant Eyes menu, and instead of “analyzing,” you’ll see the number of screenshots taken.
Screen Recording on Mac®
If the Covenant Eyes menu is stuck on “analyzing” or there are no screenshots from your Mac® in the Victory app’s Activity Feed or email report, check that Covenant Eyes has access to Screen Recording in System Settings:
Click on the Apple menu > System Settings >
Privacy & Security > Screen Recording. Then make sure Covenant Eyes is toggled on.
Screen Casting on Android™
When you install Covenant Eyes on an Android™ phone or tablet running Android™ 10 or lower, we prompt you to enable Screen Casting in Settings so we can take screenshots of your device.
If the Covenant Eyes menu is stuck on “analyzing” or there are no screenshots from your Android™ device in the Victory app’s Activity Feed or email report, uninstall the Covenant Eyes app and reinstall it.
Windows 7 or 8
This final scenario only applies to Windows 7 and 8. If the Covenant Eyes software menu is stuck “analyzing,” your computer may require a unique update to support our ability to take screenshots.
Please reach out to Member Care via chat, email, or phone, so we can help you access the update and install it.
