When a specific Covenant Eyes under-the-hood process is not running on Mac® computers, you may receive a Your computer is not protected. Error M072: Internal Error message.

Multiple scenarios can prompt an M072 error. Review the following list to pinpoint the issue and get online: 

  1. Check your Covenant Eyes version number and log in to our online member portal, My Account, to see if you have the newest version
  2. Make sure Apple's parental controls or Screen Time settings aren't conflicting with Covenant Eyes
  3. Update your computer's macOS (operating system version) 
  4. If none of the above items fixed the error, uninstall Covenant Eyes and reinstall
