Is my antivirus program compatible with Covenant Eyes on a Windows computer?

Covenant Eyes is compatible with most AV programs on Windows! At this time, these are the only known conflicts:

Antivirus Issue Recommendation

Aura

Aura constantly kills Covenant Eyes and Covenant Eyes' processes.  Uninstall Aura from your computer.

Avast (paid versions only)

Covenant Eyes filter users who also use Avast’s “Real Site” or “Web Hijack Guard” component will not be able to get online, and our filter won’t work correctly. Disable Avast’s “Real Site” component.

Disable Avast’s “Web Hijack Guard.”
AVG (paid versions only) Covenant Eyes filter users who also use Avast’s “Fake Website Shield” component cannot get online, and our filter won’t work correctly. Disable AVG’s “Fake Website Shield” component.
Comodo Covenant Eyes filter users who also use Comodo will not be able to get online because of a firewall conflict. Disable Comodo’s “Filter Loopback Traffic” component.
Endpoint or Enterprise
Antivirus Programs
When “endpoint” or “enterprise” is in the antivirus name, an IT company/department or computer specialist controls the antivirus. Endpoint and enterprise antivirus programs are typically more aggressive with third-party software, like Covenant Eyes. Contact your IT company/ department for assistance allowing Covenant Eyes through the antivirus’ security settings.
McAfee Covenant Eyes filter users who use McAfee’s “WebAdvisor” or “SiteAdvisor” component will experience issues with our filter. Uninstall McAfee WebAdvisor and McAfee SiteAdvisor.
Sophos Covenant Eyes filter users on the Strong Blocking Level may have trouble blocking Reddit and Imgur. N/A
ZoneAlarm Covenant Eyes filter users who also use ZoneAlarm’s firewall will not be able to get online. Uninstall ZoneAlarm or do not use the Covenant Eyes filter service.
