Do I need CE notifications enabled on Android for CE to work properly?

I know this was necessary on iOS, but unsure if it's needed on Android. It's not a big deal, I just like seeing the big clock on the Android screensaver and it doesn't show up if any notifications are present.

    Thanks for your question. Yes Covenant Eyes does need notifications enabled for either mobile platform in order to function properly. I realize that may not be ideal but I do appreciate your understanding.
