I have not idea why CE started blocking the site in the last 3-4 weeks, but I've found a workaround. I added it as a safe site in settings and can access it again.
Would like to know, however, what caused it to be automatically blocked.

Thanks for your question. I am honestly not sure why the site is being blocked. If it is harmless then it certainly shouldn't be blocking. I've taken the liberty of forwarding that site on to the appropriate team to investigate it and whitelist it on our filter if applicable.
