Erase and restore I phone

Tom McClain
Covenant Eyes is always updating their software. Does anyone know if they’re working on an update that would sense if an Apple device has been erased or restored? This feature would be a great help to me.

    ERASED (16451763704987)

Why would you want to erase your device??? To hide something???? The whole point of being here is transparency. Unless your trading in your phone it should remain as it way when you signed up.

Michael, LOL - if only we could all have your (apparently) vaunted level of self-control. But then would CE even need to exist?

Tom, I don't know the answer to your question, as I do not work for them. But I do know that you can "supervise" your iPhone, if you have a Mac located somewhere other than where you might be tempted to erase the device. Supervising allows you to apply "config profiles", and you can create and apply one of those to prohibit resetting the phone, except when connected to that Mac. It might be possible to this with a Windows machine, but I don't know. This process is involved at first, but once you've figured it out, you have it, and it could be of some help to you. If you want to know more, perhaps I could find a link to get you started. And btw: keep fighting!
