I'm so frustrated with this software
Every time my MacBook wakes up, I cannot reconnect (Error M202 or some other) until I completely restart my system. I'm restarting my system several times per day. This has been a persistent problem for quite some time. I'm so tired of this.

Hello Joe,
Thanks for reaching out. I apologize for the issue you’re experiencing on your Mac. Just to make sure I have the correct information; you’re seeing an error message that says M202, not M201? We have an error message called M202 (Refresh Delayed) and one called M201 (Could Not Connect to Server). If this is occurring when you’re waking your Mac from sleep, it could very well be the M201 error.
Are you on the latest version of Covenant Eyes® for Mac? Our current version number is 3.9.9. To check this, click on the Covenant Eyes® icon on your Mac. Scroll down and look for Screen Accountability™, you’ll see the version number next to that. If it is not on that version, please login to your account on our website and download it from there. Here is a support article for instructions: https://support.covenanteyes.com/hc/en-us/articles/12717137028123-How-do-I-install-Covenant-Eyes-on-a-Mac-
If you’re already on the latest version, the next thing I’d check for is conflicting software. Is there any other content filters installed on the Mac? Or maybe some sort or Parental Controls on the router? If so, try turning those off and see if that makes a difference.
If the issue persists, I encourage you to give our Member Care Team a call so they can investigate further for you. They can be reached via chat or over the phone at 989-720-8000. Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.
I have the exact same issue. Running a 2022 MacBook Air.
every time my mac goes to sleep, I lose connectivity. when I try to refresh CE, I get error M202.
the only fix for me is to restart. it has made my laptop 100% unusable for my job.
I am going to try re-installing, but not hopeful for a fix there. I run the most recent CE version and my OS is updated as well.
Hello Kyle,
I’m sorry you’re experiencing this issue, too. How did things go with the reinstallation? Any difference? If you’re still having issues, I would suggest contacting our Member Care Team (989-720-8000 or through chat on our website). They can troubleshoot more and grab some debug logs to report this problem.

Uninstalling + Reinstalling CE seems to have solved my issue (for now). Jared Clifton-Lee try to uninstall the software, and then do a restart on your machine. Then repeat the install process, and see if the issue persists. I was also at the end of my patience with that M202 error, but I haven't had it once since I did these steps.
Cheers
