Both times Have used covenant eyes on a Mac, it has blocked Mac OS software updates from happening. Anyone else?

On a 2019 MacBook Pro, I recently factory reset it to try and update the Mac OS, while downloading it - it finally worked once I factory reset it, I was also reinstalling covenant eyes. And the download paused and now remiains with the bar progress bar 3/4 full and it says its downloaded 15.6 of 15.6 GB . . .  and nothing else. 

CE do you guys know why this may be ??

    Thanks for reaching out, I am sorry to hear that is happening, that certainly sounds frustrating. 

    Covenant Eyes should not be preventing you from updating your MacOS or downloading anything. I have a few questions regarding your situation. Do you have any other accountability software, any other content filters, any antivirus software or VPNs on your computer? Sometimes those types of software can interfere with ours and cause abnormal issues to occur, like the one you are experiencing.
