Reporting on things outside of Safari
First of all, I love the Screen Accountability and how it works. I do feel, however, that some things used to work better on CE on iPhone than they do now. I think back when accountability was mostly through the CE Browser that, it would provide detailed accountability within the browser and it would provide some surface level accountability when websites were visited outside the app (i.e. Safari). This was nice because it provided my AP with a "know what they don't know". So although there wasn't detailed accountability, it at least would encourage me to minimize or eliminate any browsing beyond the detailed accountability app.
It would be nice to have this now, with the Safari extension, if it's still technically possible. I know that CE will report explicit domains even outside of Safari, but there's plenty of gray area sites where it would be nice for my AP to know internet activity beyond the screen accountability. For instance, why am I on Instagram for an hour outside of the Safari Screen Accountability monitoring? With the in-app browsers and progressive web apps, this would be really nice to have. Please note, I don't want the CE browser back, but during the time there was the CE browser with the VPN solution, the iPhone app did have the dual layer accountability of the specific and the general monitoring, and that's something I wish it still had. And just to clarify, I don't think Instagram should be marked as an explicit site, I just think the reports could yellow light non-negligible amounts of internet activity beyond the Safari browser.
