Software question

Brentt Ellis
I factory reset an old phone I no longer use. I was interested in keeping covenant eyes on it even after the reset until i got rid of it. But after I reset it I noticed the app and the little eye icon were not present after the reset. Do I have to reinstall the covenant eyes app and sign back in to assign my old phone coverage. It does still say it's on my devices list but when I went browsing on it to just see if there was a response there was nothing.

    Hello Brentt,

Thanks for your question. Whenever a device is factory reset it is restored to the version it was as a new product. As a result any changes made or apps installed would need to be redone or reinstalled.  This includes Covenant Eyes.  You will want to reinstall Covenant Eyes fresh from the App store or Play store, sign in with your Covenant Eyes username and password, and then follow the appropriate setup steps.

In case it might be helpful I will include links to the articles that walk you through installing and setting up Covenant Eyes on an Android and iPhone respectively. Those articles can be found here and here

If you need any further assistance please be sure to let us know. Thank you and have a great rest of your day.
