How do I install Victory Shield™ on an Android™?

You can install Victory Shield™ on an Android™ device by downloading the Victory Shield™ app via the Google Play™ Store. You must have a subscription to sign in to Victory Shield™ and use the app.

Before You Begin

• Compatibility: Victory Shield™ requires Android™ operating system 11 or newer. Victory Shield™ is not compatible with Android Go (Android Lite).
   
• Potential Conflicts: On your device, disable the Blue Light filter app, screen dimming apps, and any app locking features. You can turn them back on after you install Victory Shield™.

Install Victory Shield™

1. Tap this link to view Victory Shield™ in the Google Play™ Store and tap the "Install" button.
   
2. Tap "Open."
   
3. Tap "I already have an account" if you already have an account (an active subscription). If you don't have an account, tap the "Next" button and follow the prompts.
   
4. Type in your username and password. Then tap “Sign in.”
   

5.  Tap "OK" and "Allow" to enable Victory Shield™ to send you notifications.

   Only members with Android™ operating systems 13 and higher will see the following two screens about Notifications. If you don't see these screens, skip to step #6.

   
   
   

6. Tap "Agree" to consent to our Individual Use Agreement.
   
7. Tap "Agree" to proceed to your device’s Settings app so you can enable Accessibility for Victory Shield™.
   
8. Under Downloaded apps (some devices may say Installed apps or Installed services), tap "Victory Shield."
   

9. Move the top toggle switch to the right (the switch will turn blue).

   Leave the Victory Shield shortcut off.

   

10. Tap "Allow."
    
11. Tap “OK” and "Activate this device admin app" to allow Victory Shield™ to secure our app and its uninstall procedures.
    
    
    

12. Tap "OK" to open your device's Settings app, tap "Private DNS," set it to "Off," then tap "Save."

    Only some members will see the following three screens. If you don't see them, skip to step #13.

    
    
    
    
    

13. Tap "OK" to allow Victory Shield™ to run a VPN in the background of your device to filter content. Then tap "OK" on the Connection request screen.

    Only members subscribing to our filter will see the following two screens. If you don't see them, skip to step #14.

    
    
    

14. Success! You installed Victory Shield™. Tap "OK." You’ll see our app menu. You can exit the Victory Shield™ app.
    
    
    
15. Please exclude Victory Shield™ from your device’s built-in battery saver or power-saving mode so Victory Shield™ runs smoothly!
