If the Covenant Eyes software on your Mac® computer is having trouble connecting to our database, you may receive one of these messages:
- Network Down? Covenant Eyes is unable to connect to the internet. Error M201: Could not connect to server
- Blocking service limited. Error M201: Could not connect to server error
Multiple scenarios can prompt an M201 error. Review the following list to pinpoint the issue and get online:
- Restart your computer to jump-start Covenant Eyes
- Make sure your computer is connected to the internet via WiFi or Ethernet
- Check your Covenant Eyes version number and update Covenant Eyes if you're not on the newest version
- Review our list of known conflicting programs
- If you use filtering, check your computer for conflicting filtering systems or parental controls
