Before You Begin
-
On Mac® computers running macOS® 10.15 Catalina or higher, Covenant Eyes needs access to “Screen Recording” in System Settings to screen-capture your activity.
- Screen Recording is a privacy setting on Mac® computers that allows programs (like Zoom and Covenant Eyes) to monitor and view your screen.
- If Covenant Eyes doesn’t have access to Screen Recording on Mac®, an M062 error message may occur, and you’ll see a Service Interruption message as part of your activity in your Activity Feed in the Victory app or email Check-in.
Turn on Screen Recording for Covenant Eyes
- From your Mac® desktop, click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen and select “System Settings…”
- Select “Privacy & Security” and then scroll down and click “Screen & System Audio Recording.”
- Move the toggle switch for Covenant Eyes to the right to turn it on.
- Type in your Mac® computer administrator password and click "Modify Settings."
- On the pop-up screen, click "Quit & Reopen."
- Next to “Covenant Eyes,” the toggle switch should be blue. Please restart your Mac®, and the M062 error should be gone after the restart!
