How do I find the operating system version on an Android™?

To find the operating system version on an Android™ device, open the Settings app, tap "About phone," and then look for the version number next to "Android Version."

1. Open the Settings app.
   
2. Tap “About phone.” (Some Android™ devices may say “About device” or “About tablet.”)
   
3. Under Android version, you’ll see the operating system version number.
