With macOS® Sonoma 14, Apple indicates when a program or application monitors the screen by placing a purple icon on the Mac® menu bar.
- The icon is only visual & doesn't have any additional functions.
- Once you install Victory Shield™ on a Mac®, the purple icon may appear in the Mac® menu bar.
- Other programs that monitor or view your screen, like Zoom, may also cause you to see the purple icon on your Mac® menu bar.
