How do I fix the M623 error on a Mac®?

Before You Begin

• About M623: Error M623 Network Extension Failed to Uninstall Automatically only occurs when you uninstall Victory Shield™ on a Mac®.
   
• Resolution: Follow the steps below to remove the Victory Shield™ network extension and uninstall.

Fix the M623 Error

1. Click on the Apple icon in the top left-hand corner of your screen and click "System Settings." 
   
2. Click "Network" and then "Filters."
   
3. Click "Victory Shield" and the minus (-) button.
   
4. Click "Continue" on the M623 error message. 
   
5. Type in your Mac® Administrator password for your computer. Then click "OK."
6. Click "Reveal VictoryShield.app" in Finder.
   
7. Right-click on Victory Shield and select "Move to Trash."
   
8. On the Finder wants to move Victory Shield to the Trash prompt, enter your Administrator computer password. Then click "OK."
   

9. You uninstalled Covenant Eyes/Victory Shield. Click the "Close" button to exit the uninstaller.

   If you receive a prompt to restart your computer, please restart it.
