If your username has filtering, Victory Shield™ will automatically enable SafeSearch and lock it. You cannot turn SafeSearch off if your username has filtering.
About SafeSearch
- Some search engines (like Google, Bing, and Yahoo!) have an optional safety feature called SafeSearch.
- SafeSearch will attempt to pre-filter your search and web results.
SafeSearch Limitations
SafeSearch has some limitations:
- SafeSearch isn't perfect and doesn't guarantee that every search and web result will be 100% clean.
- "Clean results" may vary depending on your search engine because each search engine has a different definition for inappropriate (violent, pornographic, etc.) content.
- Some search engines don't offer SafeSearch.
- For extra protection, you can use a family-friendly search engine that doesn't allow video or image results with Victory Shield™.
