A VPN Turned Off Activity Event means the Victory Shield™ VPN on an iPhone® or iPad® was turned off. Similarly, a VPN Turned On Activity Event means the Victory Shield™ VPN on an iPhone® or iPad® was turned on.
We note instances when the VPN has been turned off/on in the Activity Feed, and it triggers a Highlighted Activity is not typically a reason for concern. But some activity is good for you to double-check Check-in.
- This activity event applies only to iPhones and iPads.
- On iPhone®, our VPN runs in the background to help provide device-wide monitoring.
- This activity event may occur because the member turned off our VPN in the device's Settings app.
- After a member turns off the VPN, when it's turned back on (either automatically by the Victory Shield™ app or by the member), you'll see a VPN has been turned on event in the Activity Feed.
- To talk to the member about this, tap the blue chat button in the bottom right-hand corner of the VPN event to start a private Chat in the Victory app.
