About Our Safari® Extension & Screen Time


  • About Web Content: Apple’s free device controls, Screen Time, protect the Safari® app and some of its settings. Specifically, Screen Time’s Web Content filter locks down Safari®’s extensions.
     
  • Web Content's Unrestricted" Setting: You must set Web Content to “Unrestricted” to turn on the Safari® extension.

Set Web Content to "Unrestricted"


  1. Open the Settings app on the iPhone® or iPad®.

  2. Scroll down and tap “Screen Time.”

  3. Tap “Content and Privacy Restrictions.”

  4. Tap "App Store, Media, Web, & Games." If prompted, enter your Screen Time Passcode.

  5. Tap “Web Content.”

  6. Tap “Unrestricted."

  7. Nice work! You unlocked our Safari® extension. Now read How do I turn on the Victory Shield™ Safari® extension on an iPhone®? to turn on our extension.

    After you turn on the Safari® extension, we recommend changing Web Content back to “Limit Adult Websites” so the iPhone® user can’t turn off the Victory Shield™ Safari® extension.
