Victory Shield™ Device Protection settings use Apple's device controls, Screen Time, to provide two additional safety features: App Blocking and App Removal Protection. Device Protection settings require the Victory Shield™ iPhone® app version (insert number here) or newer.
App Blocking
- Our App Blocking setting uses Apple's Screen Time's Age Rating Restrictions.
- App Blocks greys out inappropriate apps on the iPhone®, depending on the App Blocking level you select.
- During the installation of Victory Shield™ on iPhone®, you can select your desired App Blocking level:
No App Blocking: blocks no apps
Moderate: blocks apps 13+
Strongest: blocks apps 9+
- At any point after installation, you can also change the App Blocking level.
App Removal Protection
- Our App Removal feature uses Apple's Screen Time Restrictions to enable Website Filtering. The Limit Adult Content website filter prevents the member from disabling the Victory Shield™ Safari® Extension.
- Our App Removal feature also uses Apple's Screen Time Restrictions to disable Deleting Apps. Disabling Deleting Apps protects the Victory Shield™ app from being deleted from the iPhone®.
- Please note that turning on App Removal Protection will also disable the ability to delete all apps on the iPhone®.
