How do I turn on the App Store® in Screen Time so I can update Victory Shield™ on an iPhone®?

Before You Begin


  • About Screen Time: You may have turned off the App Store® in Screen Time (Apple's device controls) to prevent the member from downloading apps on the iPhone®.
     
  • No App Updates: Turning off the App Store® also disables apps from auto-updating. So you need to temporarily restore the App Store® to update Victory Shield™.

Turn on the App Store®


  1. Open the Settings app on the iPhone® or iPad®.

  2. Scroll down and tap “Screen Time.”

  3. Tap “Content and Privacy Restrictions.”

  4. Tap “iTunes & App Store Purchases.” If prompted, enter your Screen Time Passcode.

  5. Tap “Installing Apps.”

  6. Tap “Allow” to enable the ability to install apps. If prompted, enter your Screen Time Passcode. Then tap "<" to return to the previous screen.

  7. You’ll return to the iTunes & App Store Purchases screen and be able to view the changed setting.

  8. Now you can update Victory Shield™ and any other apps on the iPhone®. After you update Victory Shield™, you can disable the App Store® again so the member cannot download new apps.
