How do I turn off Screen Time's Content & Privacy Restrictions on an iPhone®?

You can turn off Screen Time in the iPhone® Settings app.

If you previously set up Screen Time on the iPhone® or iPad®, you may need to turn off Screen Time's Content & Privacy Restrictions to uninstall Covenant Eyes and restore apps (like Safari® and the App Store®).

Turn Off Content & Privacy Restrictions

1. Open the Settings app on the iPhone® or iPad®.
   
2. Tap “Screen Time.”
   
3. Tap "Content & Privacy Restrictions."
   
4. Move the "Content & Privacy" toggle switch to the left to turn it off (the switch will turn white). If prompted, enter your Screen Time Passcode.
   

   If you forget the Screen Time Passcode, Covenant Eyes cannot help reset it. Please refer to Apple's support article to reset it.
