How do I fix the "Oops! Something went wrong setting up the Safari® extension" error message on an iPhone®?

Set Safari® as your default browser, turn on the Covenant Eyes Safari® extension and set the Covenant Eyes Safari® extension Websites setting to "Allow" to fix the "Oops! Something went wrong setting up the Safari® extension" error message.

Fix the Error


  • Set Safari® as the default browser on an iPhone®

  • Turn on the Covenant Eyes Safari® extension in the iPhone® Settings app

  • Set the Covenant Eyes Safari® extension Websites to "Allow" (shown as steps #7 and #8 in the Safari® extension article)
