How do I fix the "Cellular Data is Turned Off. Turn on cellular data or use Wi-Fi to access data" error message on an iPhone®?

Turn on Cellular Data for Victory Shield™ in the iPhone® Settings app to fix the "Cellular Data is Turned Off" error message.

About the Error


This error message only appears when you try to use our iPhone® app while using Cellular Data, which is not on for Victory Shield™ in the iPhone® Settings app.

Turn on Cellular Data for Victory Shield™


  1. Tap "Settings" on the error message.

  2. Find "Victory Shield" and move the toggle switch to the right to turn it on (the switch will turn green).

  3. Please restart your iPhone® to re-launch the Victory Shield™ app and our VPN service. You should now be able to sign in and use the Victory Shield™ app.

Activity & Reporting


  • For members using the Victory app: This error message will not appear in the Activity Feed for the Victory app.
     
  • For members using email Check-ins: This error will not appear on your Check-in because it’s just an internet connection error message.
