How do I turn on filtering for a member?

Filter Guardians (Guardian) can add filtering by logging into the Victory app, navigating to the "People" tab, tapping "Profile" under the member's name, and choosing "Standard Blocking" or "Strong Blocking" under Blocking Level.

Before You Begin


  • Only a member's Guardian can turn on filtering for that member. 
     
  • By default, Account Admins (Admins) are Guardians for all members on the account unless they add someone else as a Guardian.
     
  • Admins who are their own Guardians can turn on filtering for themselves.

Turn On Filtering


  1. Open the Victory app on your phone or tablet and enter your username and password to sign in.

  2. Tap the "People" tab.

  3. Select "Profile" for the person you want to enable filtering for. (If you want to enable filtering for yourself, tap your initials in the top-right corner, tap "Settings," and proceed to step #4.)

  4. Under Blocking Level, tap the bubble next to "Standard Blocking" or "Strong Blocking."

  5. We'll automatically save your changes, and you'll see a confirmation message. Please have the member refresh Victory Shield™ on their devices to activate the filter. You're all set!
