Uninstall Permission is a setting that determines if the member can remove Victory Shield™ from their computer(s).
About Uninstall Permission
- Members need an Uninstall Code to uninstall Victory Shield™ from a Windows or Mac® computer.
- If an Account Admin removes a member's Uninstall Permission by unchecking "May uninstall," the member cannot get an Uninstall Code.
Prevent Uninstalling on Phones
- Per Apple's policy, we can't prevent members from uninstalling Victory Shield™ on an iPhone®. But you can prevent uninstalling by setting up Screen Time and turning off "Deleting apps." As part of our service, we note every install of the Victory Shield™ iPhone® app in Victory.
- Per Google's policy, we can't prevent members from uninstalling Victory Shield™ on Android™ devices. However, we will send an immediate Activity Alert via the Victory app.
