What's a Filter Guardian?

A Filter Guardian (Guardian) manages a member's filter (website blocking) settings, including removing filtering.

About the Filter Guardian

• The Account Admin (Admin) is automatically the Guardian for all members on the account, including themselves. 
   
•  However, anyone who is their own Guardian is automatically removed as their own Guardian when another Guardian is added and accepts the invitation.
   
• Admins can add Guardians for members on their account, and members can also add Guardians for themselves.
   
• After being invited, Guardians must create a free profile to manage the member’s filter status and filter settings.

Filter Guardian Functions

Filter Guardians can do the following:

• Remove filtering
• Change the filter's Blocking Level
• Allow websites with the Custom Website List
• Block websites with the Custom Website List
• Remove websites from the Custom Website List
